My first stop will be in Nevers, France, where I will stay at St. Bernadette's convent for two days before continuing on to Lourdes.
A bientot!
On October 15, 2008, after two years as an officer in the Navy, my life changed when I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Putting my concerns in the hands of the Blessed Virgin Mary and my trust in Our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that I may be faithful to the Holy Catholic Faith and serve the Church for the rest of my life.

Have a safe trip, Philip!
praying for continuing miracles...
May St. Bernadette intercede for you powerfully and miraculously!
Praying for you Phil. We just watched the movie Bernadette on Saturday. It is a great reminder that at times we will not find happiness or comfort in this world, but only in the next. You continue to be an encouragement to all of us. We check in at your blog and are always moved by your strong faith and courage. We miss your smiling face at St. Benedict's!
Bon voyage!
Godspeed Philip.
We send along our prayers and petitions for you and all those you will represent as you implore Our Blessed Mother for her intercession. You are remembered everyday at Holy Mass. God speed, Philip.
