Good Friday in Dunn, NC

Fr. Parkerson celebrated Good Friday in the Extraordinary Form in Dunn:

He lies prostrate before the altar:

Chanting the first lesson:

Father chants the Passion:

All kneel at "...and He gave up his Ghost"

The Good Friday intercessions:

The cross is uncovered for veneration:

Father venerates the cross:

Seminarians and servers venerate the cross, followed by the laity:

The Blessed Sacrament is brought in from the altar of repose:

The "Our Father" is recited before Holy Communion is distributed:

Afterwards, the traditional "Cristo Muerto" procession is held outside, ending with the veiling of the statue of Christ:
